Erzgebirge’s world-famous Müller workshop also makes an array of German nativity sets for their collection. A favourite is the range of candle holder pyramids, which recreates the nativity scene in flawlessly hand-carved wood. Here there are spaces for small tealight candles, the heat of which travels up and moves a small set of propellers that sit above the baby Jesus and the three wise men. The Müller workshop also produces a striking nativity candle arch, complete with all the characters from the biblical scene, which sits below a wave of twinkling LED lights. All of the Müller pieces are completely handmade, using techniques and skills built up through centuries of woodwork and folk art practised in the area.

All products are handcrafted in Germany’s Erzgebirge region and come with a two-year product warranty.
